Description of the problem	While driving the vehicle, the motor started to stall at highway speeds and making loud knocking noises. Once the vehicle was pulled over to the shoulder of the road the vehicle died and would not start. There was no sign of over heating or any other damage. No warning lights appeared until right before the motor died and only then the check engine light appeared. We had the vehicle towed to a local service shop and the technician and mechanic informed us that the motor would need to be replaced.
