| Description of the problem | At 100,000 miles, a knocking sound could be heard. The service department at the dealership indicated that the engine was faulty. I understand that there was a recall of the 2012 kia sportage but my vin number does not indicate that my vehicle was affected by this recall. Can you explain why my vehicle which is affected by the same engine failure is not covered? |
