| Description of the problem | Engine failure as described in multiple complaints and same as current recall for which my vin is supposedly not affected. Regular maintenance as been performed. 1 day after most recent oil change, accelerated to enter interstate. Heard a pop then seen black smoke. Pulled over to side of interstate and popped the hood only to find a small engine fire. Very glad this wasn't a very busy time on the road as this could have been catastrophic. |
