| Description of the problem | Ive been losing oil due to a leak from oil pan, noticed as of 2/1/20 my 2011 sportage has been making a knocking sound as well as loss of fuel economy and inconsistent idle sounds. Contacted kia with these symptoms in response to a recall 19v101000 that was issued on 2/15/2019 and asked if that was the possible issue. They told me my vin didn't match the recall requirements and said id have to pay for any engine failure repair and that my recall work was up to date. However i do have all my recall repair paperwork and theres nothing in there regarding that kind of recall. |
