| Description of the problem | Kia uses soy based coating/insulation on all their wiring & hoses, making it susceptible to being damaged by rodents. The windshield washer hose on mine was damaged due to rodents. After doing more research online other people have complained about more important components being damaged by rodents as well, and kia stating it was not covered under the manufactures warranty, and/or it wasn't their fault. My car was damaged by these rodents while sitting parked in the parking lot of my apartment building. |
