Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owned a 2015 kia soul. The contact stated that while driving at 45 mph, the vehicle stalled as the check engine warning light appeared on the instrument panel. Soon after the stall, the contact noticed that a white smoke began to emit from vehicle. She immediately exited the vehicle as the engine soon caught on fire. The fire department was called and the fire was extinguished. A fire report was filed at the scene. No injuries were reported due the failure. Due to the fire, the vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic and was destroyed. The dealer nor the manufacturer have yet to be made aware of the failure.
