Description of the problem	Two weeks after receiving a letter from kia motors that the expectations of oil maintenance has changed from what it was when i originally purchased my vehicle. I notice that my car burned oil quickly and even accused the dealer of not putting enough oil in my vehicle at oil change intervals but i never seen oil leaks on my drive way. While driving, my vehicle suddenly would not accelerate in mid traffic. Took to the dealer and my catalytic converter needs to be replaced. Come to find out that the oil that i thought was buring was actually getting into my cat. Converter which caused the damage. My vehicle has less than 100k miles. Reported to the kia consumer assistance for recall and after 4 weeks of going back and forth with them on claim number 13810354, their response was that they could not reach me and denied my claim. I have actual dates and time that i have called and reached out to them to get a assistance. I was constantly told that they could not reach their dpsm and ecr to get approval. My case was closed. I find out that other owners are having a similar problem with their kia souls. Please help. This appears to be a manufacture defect causing the oil to burn and destroying the catalytic converter in these vehicles. My vehicle has been at the bowie kia motors service station for 4 weeks while i was waiting on a response from kia consumer assistance. Called kia consumer assistance today and was told of the denial for repair assistance.
