| Description of the problem | In october of 2019,i started having trouble with my 2015 kia soul accelerating. It would bog down and i had trouble getting it to shift into overdrive. I took it into the kia dealership in idaho falls` and they said the catalytic converter was plugged, warped and very hot. They told me i had to replace the part but there were no catalytic converters to be found in the united states. Apparently, due to a recall everyone was having their cars fixed. The dealer found one in seattle that i had to pay to have shipped. The total repair, including shipping, was close to $2000. 00. The repair was performed in december 2019.
