| Description of the problem | There was a recall, took it to a local dealer in rocky mount nc. Was told it needed catalytic converter replaced. Kia had it fixed. About two months later check engine light began flashing and car would not accelerate pass 60. Again i took it to the dealership in rocky mount nc. Was told they didn't know what the codes were, and that they could reset the computer. After doing so i relocated to high point nc and upon arrival, it began to do the same. My car has now been at the dealership here in high point over a month. They just called stating my engine was blown. That it would cost 3633. 94 for an engine. Kia would pay half. Labor would be 2399 and that's all on me. I still owe 8 grand and don't have that kind of money. Thoughts? |
