| Description of the problem | The oil from the engine has been disappearing ever since the car got over 100k miles. It is currently at 116k and has zero oil but there is no leak and it doesn't smell like it is burning. The dealership says it is not covered under the recall and it will cost thousands to repair. This is exactly what is described in the recall notification i got last year though but the dealership said my particular engine is not covered under this recall even though it's the 1. 6l specifically stated in the recall announcement. |
