| Description of the problem | Vehicle began making a noise and seemingly not getting gas anymore and came to a complete stop right in the middle of rush hour traffic.. I tried starting it and it would not start unless i pumped the gas petal, which sent plumes of white smoke and awfully strong gas odor. The car did this all the way home. I called a mechanic and he did a diagnostic test on it and said it was caused by one of two sensors. Three mechanics said the vehicle could have caught on fire and possibly exploded while i was driving it because it was dumping fuel on the engine. They said had there been one spark from the spark plugs that my car would have most likely blown up. I am scared to drive this car now and i don't know what to do at this point. |
