Description of the problem	At 37,342 miles the right spring coil broke and shredded my tire while driving on a city street. I am grateful this did not occur on a freeway. The cost to replace the coil, strut , and tire was almost $1,000. I called kia corporate headquarters and was offered no relief because i was past the basic warranty period of 5 years.
