Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2013 kia sorento. The contact stated that while driving at an unknown speed, there was a burning odor coming from the cabin of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer fenly kia (5325 west sahara ave las vegas, nv 89146) who was unable to duplicated the failure. Approximately 3 weeks later after restarting the vehicle, a whining noise was present and smoke came from under the hood. The vehicle was towed back to the dealer who diagnosed that the engine was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure.
