| Description of the problem | Took my vehicle - 2013 kia sorento - to have a diagnosis test done at a kia dealership on why my air bag light is on because i received a letter about a clock spring assembly. The diagnosis said code b1764 which is a passenger ocs mat def ect and wants to charge me 2100. 00 to fix. This vehicle is only 3 years old and i am over the 60,000 mile warranty. I do mostly highway driving alone in the vehicle and only 5% of the time someone is in the passenger seat. This to me sounds like a defect and should be taken care of my kia. From what i am seeing on nhtsa web site there are many complaints about the same issue |
