Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2012 kia sorento. While the vehicle was idling at a red light, it stalled and could not be restarted. When the contact attempted to restart the engine, it made a ticking sound, but did not restart. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who stated that there was no oil in the vehicle even though the oil was changed recently. There was no warning indicator illuminated regarding an oil shortage. The mechanic also stated that there were no engine leaks; however, the engine needed to be replaced. The contact went back to the shop that performed the recent oil change, but they had incomplete records of the oil change, even with the contact having a receipt.
