Description of the problem	The airbag light illuminates red on my 2011 kia sorento with 55,000 miles. This indicates the airbag would not deploy in a crash. Although kia motors has sent out the extended warranty to cover the airbag clock spring assembly, this airbag failure was diagnosed under code b1764, and is a defective seat cushion with a replacement cost of $1300. This defective part should be included in the extended warranty for airbags, or determine an alternate fix. A defective part that is not critical in a crash has rendered my airbags useless.
