Description of the problem	2005 kia sorento ex with 80,000 miles; crankshaft pulley bolt failed may of 2011, resulting in being stranded. Towed to nearest repair facility, cost approx. $1200. 00 for repair. The 2003 and 2004 kia models had a recall for this very problem, but kia refuses to extend the recall to 2005, even though many kia owners have experienced this problem. Some have had their crankshaft bolts fail multiple times. I have contacted kia several times to try to get them to pay for the repair but they have refused.
