| Description of the problem | Defective throttle position sensor. Suddenly and unexpectedly the van goes to idle and there is no throttle control. Dealership will not repair unless it goes bad, even though this is one of many that have already proven to be defective. We have 40 of these models in our fleet, with 20 of them failed while being driven. That is a 50% defective rate!! These vehicles should be recalled to protect the customer from possible life threading situation. Especially, since this is a sudden unexpected occurrence that can only happen while driving, and the manufacturer has denied accountability to preemptively fix these vehicles. |
