Description of the problem	There was a recall for 2007 kia sedona regarding 2007 kia sedona recall, item affected: exterior lighting:brake lights:switch, date announced: 4/17/2009, affecting vehicles made 9-20-2006 thru 11-20-2006, however my vehicle was made 11-28-2006, everything on the recalls describes what my vehicle was experiencing.(the stop lamp switch in the affected vehicles may malfunction. A malfunctioning stop lamp switch may cause the brake lights to not illuminate when the brake pedal is depressed or may cause the brake lights to remain illuminated when the brake pedal is released. A stop lamp switch malfunction may also affect the operation of the brake-transmission shift interlock feature so the transmission shifter would not be able to be shifted out of the park position. It may also cause the electronic stability control (esc) malfunction light to illuminate, and it may not deactivate the cruise control when the brake pedal is depressed.) kia customer service said they would not cover my problem because they stated it was fixed with the previous models and all models manf. After 11-20-2006. They advised me to file a complaint with you.
