| Description of the problem | This morning my wife was riding down the road in our 2007 kia: sedona doing 55 miles an hour, when the side electric door just opened up on it's own. (it was locked.) our six year old grandson was sitting there with his seat belt on (thank god). As you can guess, it scared the hell out of him and my wife. Last year, this same thing happened a few times with the other side door. (one time, i was sitting at the door coming back from west point, ny.) as of now, kia is having problems getting parts. (it might be because of volume of problems.) they say it will take a week to get parts. (kia does not supply a free rental.) |
