 Description of the problemTl*the contact owns a 2006 kia sedona. While accelerating to merge onto a highway, the vehicle continued to accelerate on its own. The contact depressed the brake pedal completely down to the floor, but the vehicle failed to stop. The brakes began to smoke. The vehicle decelerated to 40 mph and then accelerated again to an unknown speed. The contact drove the vehicle into a grassy field and struck a sign.
