| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2006 kia sedona. While the contact was pulling out of a parking lot, the lower control arm fractured due to corrosion. The vehicle stopped in the middle of an intersection and had to be towed to an independent mechanic. The mechanic diagnosed that there was corrosion caused by liquid road salt. The vehicle was not included in a recall. The manufacturer stated that there were no recalls for the failure. The contact felt that her state was was being excluded from the recall for the corrosion of the control arms when nearby states were included. The dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was repaired.
