| Description of the problem | Kia issued a recall in 2013 for rusting control arms causing them to brake. Nov 1, 2014 at 109000 miles kia did not replace my control arms but only coated them. On nov 5, 2015 the left control arm broke from rusting thru. When the control arm broke it caused the axel to brake and the strut to bend as my wheels were going in two directions. I had no control in steering and was left sitting in the middle of a busy road coming from the turnpike. I was only going about 30 mph but three minutes from entering the pa turnpike where my speed would have been 55 |
