Description of the problem	Air bag light illuminated with no accident taking place. I purchased the vehicle new in 2006 and it has never been in an accident. I have called the dealership but they want to charge me $135 just to look at the vehicle. The actual repair would be an additional charge. I called kia motor company but they will not take care of the issue at no cost. They say it is out of warranty (which it is) and there is not a recall (which there isn't, yet, but probably should be) so they can not offer to fix the problem at no cost. I understand the air bag system will not function at all if the air bag light is illuminated so now, my wife is driving an unsafe vehicle that is less than 10 years old and just turned over 100,000 miles. I think kia should stand behind the safety system of the vehicle and repair it at no cost to me.
