| Description of the problem | Dt: the consumer received a recall letter, 05v232000, on june 10, 2005. The local dealership was called to arrange the recall repair; the consumer was told the parts were not available. A week later, the consumer called and was told to bring the vehicle in. The vehicle was inspected, but the parts were still not available. At this time, the consumer was told not to drive long distances. The consumer has called multiple dealerships and the manufacturer to locate the part. The consumer is going to go on a trip, approximately 2,500 miles, and kia corporate told him to go ahead and drive the vehicle. *jb |
