| Description of the problem | I was driving on the highway around 70 mph, pressed the gas pedal and then the engine accelerated and then decelerated back to accelerating. By that time, the car lights on the dashboard turn on and the gas pedal would not accelerate the car anymore. The car slowly started decelerating on the highway, where i managed to get off of the highway into a dip on a big street. Had it towed because the car's engine would not start anymore, but the lights and radio inside would turn on. I saw other people online talking about the same problem and how there is a recall on certain vehicles, but when i searched up my car's vin number, it doesn't appear to be on the recall list. |
