Description of the problem	While traveling at approx. 30 mph and approaching an intersection with a red traffic signal, i applied the brakes and they did not slow the vehicle at all. I stood on the brakes and they remained firm and did not go down. I repeated this 4 different times and nothing happened. I put the transmission into park and the car continued moving. I was going through the red light and fortunately the on coming traffic as able to avoid me. After crossing the intersection i ran it into a grassy gravel area where it finally stopped.
