| Description of the problem | As the vehicle accelerates, a loud ticking noise becomes evident. It only happens when the vehicle is accelerating and in drive, it does not make a noise when given gas in park. I took my car in to a mechanic today and they told me i would need an entirely new engine even though it's a 2014 with only 80,000 miles on it. I googled the issue and it appears as though this is a known issue with several other complaints: https://www. Carcomplaints. Com/kia/forte/2014/engine/engine. Shtml |
