| Description of the problem | I purchased a 2006 kia amanti approximately 18 months ago from the kia dealer in cherry hill, nj. Shortly after driving the car on numerous occasions when i stepped on the gas the car did not move, then what seemed to be an hour it revved up to normal power. I brought it back at least 3 times and they thought i was crazy because they could not reproduce the events. Eventually i almost got hit on a major road. Eventually they put a updated software change that seems to have fixed the problem. I am lucky i was not in a serious accident or killed. I think this problem needs to be fixed in other kia before someone is killed or hurt. Tom |
