Description of the problem	2005 kia amanti. Consumer writes in regards to defective airbag sensor tgw the consumer stated the defective feature was the sensor that controlled the air bags, which was installed within the bottom portion of the passenger seat. When the sensor malfunctioned, a warning light displayed on the dashboard stating "airbag". The consumer stated the first time the air bag light illuminated, the dealer found a problem with the steering column. The remedy lasted for a short time. The second time, the air bag light illuminated, the consumer was informed the problem was a defective sensor which was located in the bottom of the passenger seat. The sensor in the passenger seat controlled the driver's side air bags and the side air bags. The consumer stated kia sent him a letter outlining the restrictions and constraints regarding the use of the air bag system and how it can malfunction. jb
