Description of the problem	While driving on a highway at approximately 62 miles per hour, after a transition on a rough patch of highway road (uneven blacktop) the vehicle began to violently shake. The shaking felt horizontal as well as vertical. It stopped and then started again over the course of one to two miles. It was very violent and disruptive to the driver and passenger causing them to feel unsafe and unwell. The driver had to hang on tight to the steering wheel to maintain control of the jeep. We have no idea if/when this situation will reoccur and what damage has been done by this to a relatively new vehicle of less than 7000 miles. This was in dry weather on dry roads. We were driving straight, in a right lane and not turning at the time.
