| Description of the problem | This enterprise rent a car owned jeep has under 14,000 miles on the odometer. At highway speed above about 70 mph, a small bump or trigger such as an overpass expansion joint, initiates violent shaking and bouncing of the front end. The shaking does not dissipate until the vehicle is slowed to about 30 mph. This problem is easily repeatable. Highway speed + little trigger yields violent shaking. The shaking is so strong that 2 hands on the wheel are needed to keep the vehicle from careening out of control. |
