| Description of the problem | Windshield on jeep wrangler 2018 and newer jl models are weaker than expected. I've had 2 cracks in the windshield in less than 5k miles. Other owners are experiencing similar issues, some as quickly as leaving the dealer lot. The front defroster may be causing issues which weaken the glass. The images below show one of my cracks. The section from the driver side wiper to passenger side fractured in one shot with an audible crack. This was after the defrost was turned on. Https://www. Jlwranglerforums.
