| Description of the problem | I have a 2018 jeep wrangler unlimited rubicon with frame welds that exhibit excessive porosity and in some cases, off location. I have visited two separate dealers a total of three different times. The third time was a charm and the service advisor agreed that the frame welds were not "in spec" according to fca's star bulletin s1813000001. I was told that direction would have to be given from fca on what to do and that the advisor didn't know that the welds could be properly repaired. It has now been more than 3 weeks since i have heard anything. I don't even know if my new jeep is safe to drive at this point. In addition to the dealerships, i have been contacted jeep cares and mike manley's office with no resolution. I honestly don't know where to go. |
