| Description of the problem | I am becoming increasingly concerned with the steering issue in my 2018 jl rubicon. The recall on the steering dampener was performed 06/06/19. The vehicle is lightly driven but lately has seen more mileage. Unfortunately the replacement dampener did not correct the wandering and drifting issue. The vehicle will not track straight and must be steered all the time to remain in a lane consistently. At highway speeds the steering issue is very pronounced. It becomes difficult to keep the vehicle tracking straight with the wandering issue and slop in the wheel. I have another appointment on 01/24/20 to reexamine the steering problem. |
