| Description of the problem | Traveling straight at 72mph (cruise set) on interstate 69 crossed a slightly rough bridge expansion joint. Vehicle started to violently shake. Severe steering wheel oscillation. The shaking stopped when vehicle was slowed to around 20mph. Jeep has approximately 6,000 miles. The new steering damper recall has already been installed. The jeep has the steering damper recall already installed.*dt*jb*dt consumer stated took the jeep back to the dealership 11-26-19. The v41 replacement of the steering stabilizer had been installed backwards. So far no issues with the steering.*jb |
