Description of the problem | When driving on any type of road, the jeep wanders all over the lane and takes constant steering wheel input to maintain the vehicle in its lane. The faster the speed above 30, the worse the condition is. There seems to be a lot of play in the steering wheel at normal speeds almost like it is not connected. It is very tiring to drive on the expressway because it needs constant course correction. Several times it has wandered off of a road shoulder on its own. We have had over 17 vehicles over the years and this is the only one that behaves this way. At times it feels very, very unsafe, scary and tiring to drive. Just feels like something is extremely wrong with the steering and it is not trustworthy and may cause an accident. |
