| Description of the problem | Right around 7000 miles, i began experiencing death wobble at various speeds. The death wobble is initiated when speeds are greater than 35mph and the wrangler hits an imperfection (bump, sewer cap, highway bridge expansion gap, pothole, etc). The wrangler's steering wheel begins shaking/oscillating violently back and forth and does not stop until the vehicle speed is brought down to a stop. This is no fun when it happens to you at highway speeds. I have reached out to fca but they told me this is normal for a fixed-axle/solid-axle vehicle. This is not normal, it is actually quite dangerous. I am afraid to drive my vehicle. |
