Description of the problem	Experienced 5 instances of impaired steering response between 11 k and 12. 5 k miles. 1: 65 mph exiting freeway, steering wheel would not turn. Released wheel pressure and turn completed. 2: negotiating an s curve on a local road at 55 mph, wheel would not turn. Released pressure and completed turn. 3: turning right onto an interstate from a stop, steering wheel did not want to turn but i forced it with additional pressure. 4 and 5: felt unusual resistance when turning on local streets at low speed, 35 mph or less, but steering resistance was not as severe as in instances above. The steering up to around 11 k miles was fine. The 5 instances above happened at random intervals and speeds, and i have been unable to replicate the issue on purpose. The first instance was particularly dangerous as if i had been trying to avoid something at speed i would likely have been unable to do so because i covered quite a distance before recovering from surprise and trying to turn again. In the first two instances i do not know if i could have forced the steering wheel thru the turning resistance by maintaining pressure until the power steering system woke up.
