| Description of the problem | Have only had the vehicle for 2 weeks and less than 500 miles. Traveling on interstate at 65 mph, when we came to a gradual turn in the road. Steering wheel locked up and was unable to turn right. Vehicle went onto the rumble strips and almost off the highway when suddenly the steering "released". This caused the wheel to jerk to the right. Fortunately didn't go off the road or overcompensate too much once it released. Absolutely terrifying. Concerned about driving the vehicle on highways. Spoke the dealer and they said may the "alignment needed adjusted". This isn't an alignment issue. It was light an electronic control that was preventing the wheel from turning. |
