| Description of the problem | The vehicle has excessive play in the steering. As a result, the vehicle wanders and excessive steering wheel travel is required to bring the vehicle back to the center of the lane. This occurs when the vehicle is in motion and when traveling at both city and highway speeds. It is a constant struggle to keep the vehicle centered when traveling. The issue is worse when traveling on slightly uneven or above normal road crown. The steering wheel can be centered, or crooked to either side. This demonstrates the excessive play in the wheel. |
