| Description of the problem | The left rear seat belt shoulder strap became unattached as my 9 year old, 50 pound grandson was attempting to strap himself in. A week later on the right side of the back seat, that seatbelt was discovered to have a tear more than half way across. I have only the middle seat that is safe for my grandson to sit in. This is only a 3 year old jeep, the parts without labor is 500. To have the seat belts replaced. It will most likely cost me 1000. To have two seat belts replaced. These are definitely faulty unsafe seat belts. |
