| Description of the problem | Torque convertor stalls engine and shutters when cold. Start the engine, try to put in gear and it either stalls or makes the entire jeep shudder. The jeep has to be completely warmed up before putting into gear or it stalls/shudders. It has stalled once when going to a stop and i had no power anything (steering, abs. . .) and ended up in the intersection. Warranty person went to dealer and denied repair work. I have on video (several times) that it stalls/shudders. This is a known issue from the several mechanics (not just my dealer) that i have spoke to. My dealership where i get all repairs has it on record of stalling/shuddering when i left it there to try getting the repairs. Unable to upload videos here to show what it does. |
