Description of the problem	We had noticed an oil leak which was causing smoke & terrible smell. Luckily no fire. We took it to the dealer we purchased it from, and they refused to cover repair citing that the vehicle was serviced elsewhere, therefore it was not their fault. We had it removed from there and took it to another local dealer, who acknowledged said problem and repaired the jeep under warranty. (defective oil filter housing assembly). This appears to be a well known problem, and despite the fact that this is a 2014 vehicle, the complaints seem to be excessive. There is no doubt that the dealer we bought it from deliberately tried to blame someone else even though it is a serious safety issue potentially resulting in injury and/or death. This could have easily caught on fire. We are lucky. Documentation, repair invoices to follow if needed.
