| Description of the problem | Four months after purchasing a used wrangler unlimited i got a check engine light and codes p0205 and p0305. Upon reading up on these codes it is a very well known issue with the 3. 6l pentastar engine. The injector coil had already been replaced in cylinder 5 so my guess is the previous owner had the same issue. It has slightly over 60,000 miles on it and is no longer covered under engine warranty. The first time it happened to me was after a 120 mile drive. I stopped for gas and when i turned the jeep back on the check engine light was on. |
