| Description of the problem | Oil filter cooler adapter failed at 55k miles. Jeep leaked quart of oil on ground and another quart in intake. If jeep was run another 30 min the engine would have destroyed itself due to lack of oil. Could have aslo caused fire if oil got on hot exahust. Very common problem w penstar 3. 6. No parts available in usa as of 03-01-2021 mfr. Refuses to warranty. Claims oil filter was too tight, which was not. |
