| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2014 jeep wrangler. The contact stated while driving their vehicle they noticed a strong odor of burning oil coming into the interior of the vehicle. The contact parked their vehicle when they got to their residence and noticed a large oil leak coming from underneath the vehicle. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer country chrysler dodge jeep ram (2705 n michigan st, plymouth, in 46563) who diagnosed the failure as a crack oil housing which caused the oil leak from the engine. The vehicle was not repaired because the dealer stated the parts for the repair was on back order and they do not know when they would have it available. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 104,000. |
