Description of the problem	I noticed a large puddle of oil when moving vehicle from parked position. There was no indicator on vehicle that it was low on oil. When checking the oil level in the vehicle, there was none showing on the dip stick. All oil had leaked out of vehicle. We had the vehicle taken to a local dealership. We were told that this is a common problem with this year/make/model. It was the oil filter housing defective releasing all oil from vehicle. This part is on national back order and not expected to be available for 45 or more days. This tells me that it is a problem with the manufacturing of the vehicle. What if i had not noticed the oil that had leaked out and my the engine lock up while driving on a busy highway.
