| Description of the problem | The engine oil cooler assembly is leaking a large amount of oil into the "v" of the engine and dripping on to the exhaust manifolds. The vehicle was parked for over a week and upon driving smoke with the smell of burning oil filled the passenger compartment. To the extent that the vehicle needed to be pulled over and inspected for fire and damage. It was noted that the transmission, frame rails, and exhaust pipes were covered in oil and the vehicle was approximately 2. 5 quarts low on oil. No prior signs of an oil leak were present before the smoke and burn oil smell was noticed during normal use of the vehicle. |
