| Description of the problem | The oil cooler/filter housing is leaking oil. This is a common issue on the 2014 jeep wrangler as evidenced across ownership forums and websites. The vehicle only has 63,000 miles and is driven on normal city/highway streets. All normal maintenance has been done on time at dealerships. I feel that a recall should be considered for this part due to the volume of repairs and the numerous re-designs that jeep has performed on the replacement parts. The redesigns signal that jeep knows there is an inherent design issue that leads to failure. |
